Apple Strudel

4 Apples, peeled, cored, 1/4 diced
1/4 cup Sugar
1 Egg, whipped
1/2 cup  Graham Cracker crumbs
1 tsp Cinnamon
1/2 cup Cinnamon chips
1 Puff Pastry sheet (if store brand use two sheets)
Optional
1/2 cup Chopped nuts
1/4 cup Mini Chocolate Chips
1/2 cup Raisins

Directions:

Thaw pastry at room temperature for 30 min. in the refrigerator.  Whip egg in small bowl.  Mix sugar, cinnamon, apples and cinnamon chips or raisins together in a bowl.  Lay or unfold the pastry onto a cutting board. (when using two pieces line up short sides to make 1 long piece, brush with egg and press edge together).  With short side of pastry facing you, spoon the crumbs down the middle in a 2 inch strip from top to bottom leaving a 2 inch strip at each end of the pastry.  Spoon the apple mixture on top of the crumbs.  Brush a 1 inch strip of the whipped eggs around the pastry.  Fold one of the long sides of pastry over the apple mixture then fold the other side enclosing the apple mixture.  Brush the egg over 1 inch of each end and fold them over sealing the strudel.

Place the strudel on a lightly greased baking pan seam side down.  Brush the strudel with the egg mixture covering all of it.

Combi Oven:
Select Dry Heat Mode and set the temperature to 360°F.  Set the timer for 35 minutes.  Let unit pre-heat.  When unit buzzes, open door and place strudel into center of the unit.  Close door and let cook.  When buzzer sounds open door, remove the strudel from Combi, let cool then cut and serve.

Serving Suggestion:
Serve warm with Whipped Cream or Ice Cream.
